Perception of Police Men

Casual Walk
One fine Sunday evening, myself and friends of mine(6 in nos) went for a long walk. We were making fun out of each others among ourselves, giggling jokes and were walking on the road side. We almost walked down 2 kilometers and found ourselves tired(As we are so called youngsters of this generation). We stepped inside a pazhamudhirchozhai(fruit and juice shop). There we had fresh fruit juices and bread omlette as our snack. We spend some half an hour in the shop and myself and Mari(friend of mine) stepped outside the shop and were waiting for others to step outside so that we start towards our home.

Instinct of them
Here comes the core of the topic. Its hardly 20 seconds we just came out of the shop and our friends joined us outside. A police vehicle came near to us and the SI inside the vehicle asked us "Why you guys are forming a group?". My friend told "We just had our snacks and were out of the shop". The driver of the Jeep parked the vehicle in the road side and came close to us and asked the same question. My friend answered the same again. He forcibly pointed to my friend Mari and asked "What is your state? Are you a North Indian ? HINDI KAARANA?", since he was fair enough and of his skin tone. He just never expected this question and was recollecting the question again himself. Again the Police driver asked about his profession. He answered he is a "Software Engineer".

Perception of Police men on Software Engineer
The police man said at the instant, you guys(i.e Software Engineers) would always drink on Sunday and create nuisance to public. And we all were shocked to hear this. And particularly no one was such a kind of person. This was the most embarrassing for my friend and he dosen't even spoke a word to the police man and we guys just started moving towards our home. But that created a great impact on me.

1. The first question 'Does Police men always have the wrong perception on Software Engineers?'
2. Or, in contrast 'Software Engineers are drunkards'
3. Or, Does the perception of Police men are always crooked?.
